Artist’s Background
A resident of Menlo Park, Berni Jahnke received her Bachelor of Science
degree in Applied Arts from the University of Cincinnati. After graduation
she worked as a free lance artist for the Gibson Art
Greeting Card Company in Cincinnati. Following her move to California, the artist
specialized in watercolors, deriving much of her inspiration from her travels abroad.
Berni is a member of the Menlo Art League, and the Pacific Art League of Palo Alto.
She is a signature member of the California Watercolor Association, the Society of
Western Artists, and the Transparent Watercolor Society of America.
